Well, I never did get around to posting this but I did end up having success with the Hot Cross Buns - even if we didn't enjoy them til everyone was back at work on "Easter Wednesday"! They were scrummy this time and didn't last long. I just went with the recipe in the book this time (which was pretty much the same) though I halved the spices, and didn't even add cloves. Mmmm. I got a feeling we won't only be enjoying these around Easter!
